Families in Hanson have been spending their summers at the Cove since the 1940s! Cranberry Cove offers a cool retreat for those hot summer days.
The cove will open June 25th this year!
Beach Hours:
7 days a week, 11am-6pm
(weather and staffing permitting)
Cranberry Cove Beach Rules:
No children under the age of 12 allowed without parental/guardian supervision
No alcoholic beverages or glass containers
No horseplay in the water or on the docks
No fishing from the docks or on the beach
No grilling on the beach or in the parking lot
No running on the docks
No throwing sand or rocks
No hanging on the ropes
No personal flotation devices **
Remember these rules are for your safety. Thank you for your cooperation in complying with these rules.
** Note that only U.S. Coast Guard approved flotation devices are allowed at Cranberry Cove. The tag inside the flotation device must say U.S. Coast Guard approved. The user of the approved flotation device must be accompanied by a capable swimmer. Inflatable devices are not allowed.

Payment at Cranberry Cove can be with cash, check, or credit card.

An assortment of snacks and beverages can be purchased at Cranberry Cove with the gate attendant. Items are subject to change based on availability.

All purchases are final. If you wish to have a refund considered for extenuating circumstances, you can request review by the Camp Kiwanee Commission.

The cove has ample parking next to the beach. Parking is free.

Cranberry Cove has kayaks available for rent in 1 hour increments. We request that you wear a life vest while kayaking. We will provide a life vest for you if you do not have one.

Cranberry Cove has gate attendants that are able to process transactions for you the day you swim, in person. If you prefer to purchase online before visiting, please show the attendant your emailed receipt.
